New to the site and looking to set up a custom system for my 2007 FJ Cruiser. Had a 12" fosgate punch in my last car and had it for about 5 years and it was pretty good.Looking to go with an 8" sub setup in the rear. Any suggestions on brands? Looking at JL Audio, Memphis Audio, or Fosgate. I dont want to shake the windows on the suv but do want concert quality sound for rock and hip hop. Is that possible with an 8" sub?? Amp suggestions would be helpful too.Thanks guys
Well like others have told me sometimes you can find good quaility for low dollars. I myself have JBL Audio All around. It can get expensive and no you do not need top quality top of the line items. and to tell you the truth alot of the sound comes from the install. a good install can make semi- good speakers , H/U, box, amp, wires its all about how you install. Solid install makes any system sound much better.
you can find sundown, DD, addictive audio 8's in the $135 each range online. thats just 3 worth a damn off the top of my head.
