What per say "Ricer" is everybody have???

I'm driving a 98' 4 door Honda Accord V6. Its more for the luxury then the speed. But that V6 will get up and move. I plan a few bolt ons and gots to get rims but most of the money goes to the sterio. :guypeace:

I own a 98 Accord too and I'm not going for the rice look at all. Only thing I have put into my car is window tint and the system. I will be buying some rims though but it won't be for a couple months. I like the clean look of the Accords and don't want to rice it out.

I drive a 1990 isuzu impulse XS. Soon to have a stereo in it worth more than the car. It's not all that fast, but I love the way it handles...

That's because Lotus helped engineer the suspension! ;)

Neat little sister car to the Geo Storm, always did wonder how they drove..

And that car is RARE, you NEVER see them anywhere!

I would SO much rather have that car than a Storm!

    I'd love that car... ;)

    I do. :D

It's the only impulse I have ever actually seen in person.

Yeah, the storms were made by Isuzu -- they are a stripped down Isuzu impulse 'Gemini' coupe.

My car is like a better looking geo storm w/ 1.5x the horsepower and a 7700 rpm redline because of the DOHC.

And everybody I know that drives a sport compact car keep telling me how jealous they are of the 'handling by lotus' badges on the quarter panels and dashboard. :)

A '91 dark metallic green Alfa Romeo 33.

I plan on going for a kind of race look. No outrageous grafix, no 15 foot tall spoilers (but it will be an aluminium one, those are very rare in Europe ---- max height will be 4 inches, which is shallower than the OE spoiler...), no bondo or kamikaze bodykit,.... just clean 'n' mean.

Remember, this car isn't fast but for an 18-year-old European dude, I'm in the fast lane. Most drive 1.2 litre engined Renault Clios (75hp) or diesel powered VW Golfs (65hp). :D My car is even 500lbs lighter than a Golf 2 ...

    Hail to the flat 4.

Also got a '91 dark green metallic (love that color) Mini with a white roof. No ICE. (slow enough as it is, but handles like a racecart.... on OE undertrain with 145/12 wheels  )

Please note: my car is colorcoded with my dad's Alfa Romeo 155 V6.... Always a riot on meetings and shows. Like father like son. :)

Lotus did not engineer the suspension... it is Isuzu all the way... Don't believe me? Ask Joe Isuzu, hehehe... Supposedly Lotus "tuned" the suspension but besides putting the emblem on the car, it is still the same Isuzu (BTW, if you know something about Isuzu, the old Impulse Turbo had a SOLID REAR AXLE and the Lotus sticker, even though Lotus has NEVER designed or made solid rear axle type suspension... explain this Geoman...)

I guess the only really rare Impulse is the XS Turbo with all wheel drive (Lotus used the same motor in their silly front wheel drive Elan in early 90s but somehow they did not bother to put "powered by Isuzu" emblems, hehe...

Now if you were to have an Impulse (if u really must...) the XS Turbo would be one to have...

Don't forget the Lotus Esprit has been powered by a 2.2 liter Isuzu 4banger all the way.....

And that's one hell of a cool car!

GM also cooperated with Lotus twice: the Lotus-Sunbeam and the Vauxhall/Opel Carlton/Omega Lotus.... Bad ass car!!!!

I just said that Lotus helped engineer the suspension..
I never said they were a bunch of beligerant englishmen who wanted to dominate the project!
I don't know what the involvement is, honestly, but they are all badged to reflect some sort of lotus tuning and development effort! I am sure something greater than "nothing" was done... ;)
    They are all rare..
If Isuzu Impulses are hard to find, the XS Turbo must be next to impossible! :p

Hmmm, with cars that are hard to find, it is a very tricky business... Most of the newer ones start out not selling well (high price mainly...), thus the manuf cuts the production or limits the numbers and only a few end up on the road... So they are seen as rare cars but are they really? More like there was no demand so they limited their production run... Look at Porsche lately... the prices got lower (relatively), people started buying Boxsters, production went up and now there are so many of them around (relatively speaking...). So is Porsche a rare car? Not at all or at least nobody considers them rare... Look at my 944 Cabrio (with only ab. 2000 made) or the VR4 (in 98 I think less than 1000). Are they rare? yes but for what reason? They are rare just because not too many suckers would pay 55k in 1990 to get a topless 4bangers. Hell, the VR4 was ONLY 50 k in 98 and not too many suckers bought them either... I think this is the same thing with the Isuzu... They were relatively expensive when new (XS Turbo) but have not become collectibles so they just died out with time (kinda like Ford Escort EXP...)....
