My friend has a really nice 2000 Integra GS in stick( Its not a GSR but its plenty fast and fun to drive). We were driving to a police station to pay for his ticket and we started discussing upgrading his car. Now this is nothing new, we talk about this kinda stuff all the time so I wanted to ask what you guys think. He wants to get a system but he also wants to drop a supercharger in the car. I told him to get some EDK's and am trying to convince him to go with 2 12's .....anyways.........We were arguing what he should do first: A: Work for a couple of months and buy everythind we need for his Sound System B: Save up for a much longer time and get a supercharger and worry about the system later. Neither of us were really sure about what to do first. I love Car Audio but a Supercharger is a Supercharger. That also means months upon months listening to stock speakers I guess the smart thing to do is save up quickly for a system since it wont take him long and then worry about the engine upgrade but.............. What do you guys think?
how about a compromise? he like sound and speed so do both. do a simple "budget setup" then get some bolt ons for the engine and he gets a little of both worlds to satisfy him for now. then when he starts to get used to the sound and speed he can slowly upgrade both as he saves up.
