Hi, first post, woot and all that.

I'm after some advice, I am after a new head unit.

    things it must do:
    1) play mp3's etc off a usb drive, with a rear usb port so I can stash the drive in the glove box
    2)have a pre out for a sub
    3) not have a limit on track number
    4) be reasonably priced

if I can get a dab radio on it too that would be a bonus

I was looking at the Alpine IDA-X311RR but it has a track and folder limit.

what else should I be looking at? thanks in advance

oh, and below 200 quid would be good

I have the Alpine iDA X303 and I have it attached to an 8GB iPod Nano. I also did not need a CD Player.

It has a track number limit? I did not know that. My two largest Playlists are my MISC1 and MISC2 which have 78 and 92 songs in them. I'll have to look at the directions later. But I can tell you that it is a really good HU. Its easy to operate and it works extremely well with iPods. I have also used my iPod Touch with it in Bluetooth mode.
