Well Just When I Though I Heard It All

Holy shit! An 8 year old. Jesus fucking christ. I suppose they had a canine and a couple of officers ready with tazer guns just incase she got out of hand.

 

This is really funny because I just watched cops and I was laughing my ass of at the obscene attitude they have towards small offenders. They had a special on prostitutio and you should have seen the way they treated these guys ON CAMERA. The would literally throw them out of their cars, smash their faces intot he pavement and hancuff them behind their backs with those zipties. For a secondI thought they were securing an animal. Keep in mind these are just guys who want a 10 dollar bj from a street girl. A "crime" that is legal in Las Vegas and the way I see it doesnt do any dame to anyone but the two people participating.

What's sad and pathetic is the "need to powertrip" that you see some of these officers have...

It's like a junkie looking for a fix... despirate people like that do things that they don't at the moment realize make them look so shortsighted, I suppose...

I helped bring a local skatepark into existance.
It was located in a vacant lot adjacent to the Town Hall, behind/next to a local Big K-mart, and virtually across the street from both the Junior High school and High School.

And the Police have actually stopped kids, to criticize them for riding their skateboards to the skatepark, up the driveway...
...and worse, they actually criticized ME for not enforcing THEIR parking restrictions.
Hey, if they want to put a sign up that says parents can't drive into their lot to drop their kids off, that's their business...
But even if they did, isn't it their job to enforce that? What am I going to do, make a citizen's arrest?
And besides, I'd hate to take away another opportunity to cop (no pun intended) a powertripping attitude.

Methinks these guys need hobbies, sports... something that makes them feel good about themselves so they don't think that criticizing little children is the way to boost their egos.

 

I think the main point that these asshats are missing when banning scissors from schools is that the problem is the kid not the scissors they bring to school. That same kid could have used an eraser to suffocate someone. Does that mean erasers should be banned as well?

 

I'm beginning to think more and more that i grew up in a bubble.

I just graduated last year in a relatively small city of around 60k. I can't remember a single fight happening in my entire high school experience. There wasn't any bullying to speak of. We could do pretty much whatever we wanted, I had a pocket knife on my keychain...

We had an assigned cop who was there all the time, but he was actually an alright guy. I was parked in a no parking zone and he was about to give me a ticket, but i got there while he was writing it. He said "You were probably in a hurry and this is your first time parking here", and he didn't give me the ticket. That's right, he made up an excuse for me. I have brought a crowbar into the school, which i must say is much more dangerous than a pair of scissors. We also smashed an old car in the school parking lot as a grad activity with sledgehammers and such...
