At the moment I am not able to afford a nice brand Deck, and also I am notsure if I add in a deck it will work for my DVD PLayer that is install on the top of my uplander. Now I went out and brought a Output Converter, that hooks to my speaker and send the singal to the amp to make my Woofer work? Now I need help here, cause I got the one from wal-mart (Scosche 2/4 channel adjustable) up to 80 watts! Now I am only looking to hook up one 10in sub to my dual amp, and this Scosche converter is asking to grab the front and rear speakers, Now since I am only going to use two channels am I able to just grab the Rear?
you can just send it the rear signal if you want to be able to fade the bass in and out. unless the amp has a remote sub volume then use whichever one you want.
Alright, I will just use the rear speakers, and I should be fine. Thanks, Another question, when I am spliting the wire, I cut the rear wire and add two more and join them to the vans and that would make four wire and I add the two back to the van and two TO THE convert and same for other side? Now what would I use for the remote to plug into the amp?
i think your asking about splicing the wires right? then yes. as for the remote. hmmm. ive used a toggle switch before getting power from a power source when the ignition is on. you can also get an loc with a remote out too.
S So your saying bring the blue remote wire to the fuses of the van and hook it up somewhere there, if so what one would be best
it cant hurt. i recommend an acc that has power only when the ignition is on. wipers, a/c heater. ive only had to do this as a last resort tho.
