    they are using the transmission itself to vibrate the woofer.. wtf!?

    its the "diesel powered subwoofer". it is exactly 51 inches in diameter.

    Um...this is an OLD RERUN...I've already seen it

    They hit 161 db at 16 Hz I think

    Thats it, i am making a sub out of a 6000 psi hydraulic pump, a .5 inch cylinder with 3 inch strike, coupled to a 96 inch diameter aluminum plate, controled by a 12 vdc double acting spool valve body, and it will be powered bya 10 HP tecumseh with a blower. It will do 592 dB at 12 Hz and make the local grocery store check out gals get a wet one at 65 miles distance.

    Dang I missed that episode. I heard about that one. That would be cool if they did a whole show on car audio. I know they have been doing a lot of theme shows(car myths is one example) i haven't watched Myth Busters in awhile now.
