well i ported my box with 2 4" PIPES BOTH 9 5/8" LONG NOW I NEED 2 NOW HOW 2 TUNE THE AMP WELL I GOT THE HZ 2 THE LOWEST WICH IS 30HZ NY SUGGESTIONS AND OH YEA ELCTORCITY THATNKS FOR THE HELP
well your 30 hz tuning is way too low first off all. that means the sub wont play above 30 hz. try too set it to 80hz if you can. this is how my system is set sub 80hz low pass mids in the doors 100hz hi pass they roll off around 4000 hz ( these can play as low as 35hz and up,but i have a sub and they dont need to) mids in the dash around 300 hz hi pass.(they cant play any lower cause they are too small) they too roll off around 4000 hz tweets i believe are set at 2500 hz and up.and roll off around 22,000 hz. (polk tweets) see the door mids try and pick up where the subs stop playing and the mids play up to where the tweets start. i have a slight gap between them due to cabin gain. meaning my doors are a little boomy. so that gap doesnt affect my sound.
