I am running an oldschool pioneer gm amp to my door speakers. When i turn the volume up to about half way, the vocals get really quiet, and when i try to roll down the windows or lock the door, the speakers pop. This also occurs when i turn my truck off, but it is a high pitch squeak more than a pop. What's wrong here?

probably hooked the ground from the deck onto a wire in the dash instead of to metal.:)

ground is connected directly to the frame, power is hooked up to the battery terminal. all with good secure connectors, no tape :)

thanks alot for the help, turns out it was a tiny splice in the speaker wire that was grounding out..
