Well, this has been quite the year for me. In July, I got married and 3 days later I turned the BIG 30. On October 30, 10 minutes before Halloween officially started, my wife gave birth to my first child...a boy. Jesse Ryan Bain entered this world at a measily 6 lbs, 2 oz with a length of 19.5". I expected him to be bigger, given my size (6'3"/225), but my teency wife (5'2", 100 and nothing) was quite happy. Otherwise, the baby came out perfectly healthy (10 toes and 10 fingers :D ).

I know this shouldn't be in this section, but I'm a proud father. I'll move it in a day or two.

P.S. I wish I could eat, piss, shit, and sleep with someone waiting on me 24/7 :)

    Congrats!!!

Nothing in life gives you quite as much joy and fulfillment as your children. They will work on your nerves, but you have no idea how completely you can love someone untill you have your own child.

And a boy!!! Phew ;) , that's a good thing... Lord knows with a boy, you only need to worry about one dick... with a girl, you need to worry about every dick in town :p

    Congratulations!

Hell, I got married at 26... turned the big 30 myself this year... and we still haven't popped one out yet. Maybe it's broken?

...j/k... [we aren't exactly trying right now.]

Maybe you can let me know how it works out for you, first?

    Congratulations!

Its a wonderful thing bringing a child into the world. Don't have the balls to do it byself yet. Eat it up. I wish you many years of happiness down the road.

Thanks guys. Geo, I think Michael has a bunch of links to sites with movies showing how you "make a baby" Contact him for further details :)

I was a bit wild through most of my 20's (c'mon, 6 years to grad. college!?). I finally got tired of all of it a couple years ago. Some say marriage and a child is the beginning of the end. So far, it looks to be just the opposite. The gray hairs won't start coming in until he is 12-13 and becomes the smart ass, smart mouth punk I was :)

And with that, I'll move this where it belongs.
