I have a soundstream tarantula 1600/2 amp, a 1.6 farad cap, 120 amp alt. etc., running 2 JL audio 12W6V2 in a bandpass box on top of a kenwood 541 but thats on a seperate power grid. Anyways I was driving home a while back and my subs got kinda quite than loud and kept cutting in and out for the last 10 min of my drive on the freeway. I get home and check, the amps not hot, there's still power running to the cap, all power lines are secure and remote is in place. I checked my computer in the trunk (kenwood dvd 815) and everything there seemed fine. Thing is though, before I installed the amp I took the cover off and did a little work to get the spider on top to have eyes and a thorax the glowed green from a led installed on it connected to the remote lead, and I believe that it was still turning on but not sure its been a while. What do you think my issues are here?
