Hey, this is available to me and i could probably get them within a couple days of ordering, and they are a good price. Anyone know of these? I'm looking at a single 15" SPLW-15 instead of the Rockford Fosgate. I'll just sell it back on ebay. I want quality over spl

It has a dual 1 ohm voice coil 1500 watts rms, the rockford fosgate is dual 1.5 ohm coils but its 2000 watts rms.

those are overrated...SPL audio isn't really high quality stuff

    I'd class them with Audiobling

ok, thanks! I thought it looked too good to be true, I'll stick with the rockford fosgate for now, it has a pretty nice response in bassbox pro. It's just a little limited i think because it has dual 1.5 ohm coils so my only options are series 3 ohms bridged or 1.5 ohm parallel bridged which is not good i know...What would series/parallel wiring the Rockford subwoofer produce?

with your amp does it really matter?i mean that thing will be getting over 1000 watts easily.

remember what your other orion was putting out into 4 ohms.wasnt it like double the rated output?

sooooo how big will your box be?

not sure yet, i'm still screwing around with it in bassbox but i think i'm going for a 6.6 cubic foot tuned around 32-38 hz.
