    Just installed a JVC KD-S67 in a 1984 Corvette.
EVERYTHING is new, nothing left of the Bose system. New HU, new soldered and shrink wrapped wires , Power coming straight off battery w/new wires(both pos. leads ((for testing) and ground), even a new antenna. I have isolated the unit from any factory wiring whatsoever.
Problem is the sound cuts off like a hiccup every second or so ONLY WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. With the engine off, everything works like it should. The problem occurs whether I am using the AM or FM or even the CD.
I hope someone can please help me as I am at a complete loss here.

hmmmm...try to isolate the power for the radio to test the power wire.. might be something going on with the power going to the head unit.
