Sony Headunit aux-in Problems

    Sony CDX-F5500

    I just moved the headunit from a jeep into a 99 honda accord and wanted to make use of the aux input jacks to play my ipod, but once I got it all plugged in my "AUX" function no longer comes up when I hit the source button.


    I tried resetting the unit, disconnecting the battery, etc... with no luck, neither the XM Radio function nor the AUX will come up even when nothing is plugged into the "bus in" jacks.


    Help?

    I'm not sure about Sony, but my Alpine has the "Aux" off by default. If I want the "Aux" function, I have to go into the menu and turn it on. Google your HU and see if you can find a set of directions
