i need to find 7 or more 150kohm resistors.radio shack doesnt have any.

any help where i may be able to buy some.

1/8 watt 5% or better.is what i need to get the 125hz crossover frequency.

First, we don't use resistors as crossovers. If you need a bass blocker at 125 Hz then you will need a Capacitor with a value of around 318 micro farads. Now you will not be able to find a 318 micro farad cap. 318 is not a standard value. No problem, just parallel different values so that the sum of the caps will add up to near 318.

If you want to block high frequencies then you will need a coil with a value of around 5 milli Henrys.

I still have not got my equation editor, what good is my vast mathematical knowledge if I am unable to past that knowledge on to others?

The HORROR, the Horror of it all

so. how is it that youknow that he wants to do x-overs with resistors????

I am at a loss..... maybe i missed something.......

    CRAP!!! I DID!!!!!

    My mistake!!!!!!!!!

i didnt catch all the post being in a hurry!!!

Unless its for a x-over module for an amp...that would make sense.....

ok guys i ended up with 7 220kohm resistors.that comes out to an 85hz hi pass.that's at 24db per oct.

when i hooked it up it worked and sounded good for such a low xover setting.it also has in put and output voltage indicators.(little LED'S marked .2 , 2 ,8volts)

my head is suppose to have a 5 volt out but the input only showed a .2volt in.wtf.

on the output side it did jump to 2volts.there are no problems now.i'm only confused as to why the voltage output is so low.

i didnt mount it permanantly as i dont think i need it....in this set up.thats not to say i won't use it later on.i just couldnt pass up the deal.it only cost me $35.with20sh+h.

sooooooo.......i dont need to find resistors anymore.
