Redesign of the audio system. Need help please.

    Sup guys... well.. to make a long story short.. Someone decided to back into my car while I left it parked and drove off. My driver door is dented like hell and it totally messed up my front speaker there. So the front set components are coming out and the back set is replacing them .. buying a set of coaxials for the rear for fill. Now, I did found an excellent deal for a JBL 6 channel amp for like 200 bucks. So, I want to run front , rear , and mid bass speakers off of it. What are my installation options for a pair of mid bass speakers. I have never really messed with them so I am not sure where in the car is the best location and what I need to do to install them. The Eclipse amp is coming out and prolly going in girls car and going to get a seperate amp to run subs.. hopefully 2 12" Assassins before too long.

    It really didnt have enough power for 2 350rms subs on the rear channels so I figured why not throw some mid bass speakers on those channels. For 200 bucks this is an awesome amp in my opinion.

    Also, any suggestions for mid bass speakers would be great.. like I said I have never used them so I am not even sure what is out there.

    ok.you can buy some q-forms for your mid range,but you will have to stiffen them up since they are made of plastic.your other option is to have a custom kick panel made.this is pricey though.

    then you can put the mid-bass in the doors.also you must deaden the hell out of them.

    i mentioned the Q-form kicks for thier price.around 150-200.as opposed to 400-600 for some custom kick panels.
    i was told 500 for my truck some time ago so i'm going +/- 100.

    thats what i got.hope it helps any.

    anywho
    pedro is right you can just get a set of kicks for the front and put a nice set of 6.5s there

    why not do the cheapest and easiest and replace the door and keep the same set up?

    Why make your own kick panels...screw wasting money.

    well yeah. if you know how to work with fiber glass then make your own kicks.

    Learn in the process...it may take some time but you'll learn a valuable skill you can use

    I am going to try to remember to take some pics for you guys tomorrow of this damn door.. even if I get another speaker in there.. its going to sound like crap because the seal on the door is not sealing any more.. I need a new damn door.. arrrr

    of course they had to hit RIGHT where to speaker is.. stupid.. #$#@$@#$

    dude its a Lincoln
    and a killer Mark at that
    1st you repair it
    then you replace the audio...
    if my lac was in that position you bet thered be a door on it the next day...

    i'm sure you can find a door at a salvage yard for..maybe 100-200.

    my local yard sells doors -you pull- for 150.well last time i was there was 3 years back.

    yeah i am going to find a used door and replace it and have it repainted.. no big deal.
