opinions on these 6.5" subs

    Looking to get some midbass up front cheaply. Considering using kick panels for components and use a 6.5" sub in the stock door location.

    i can't read into specs well as far as determining how well it would work in a door location.

    i'm looking at these. i think i can make all of them fit depth wise. I can also make that door location sealed if i need to instead of IB, but whichever works best for whichever sub

    this one is 7", think it has 6.5" cutout dia?

    Many of those woofers are 8-ohms so I would rule those out, unless you wire them parallel and then bridged to an amp.

    Also the door would need to be reinforced, a couple of layers of Dynomat (or equivalent) and maybe a 1/2-inch piece of MDF between the woofer and the door. The woofer would need to be mounted solid

    You my want to also consider the Earthquake SWS-6.5, it a really good woofer.

    Anyway, I like your idea. I'm sure it would work well
