I was thinking about getting 2 ED 13kv.2(DVC 2ohm) and this amp http://www.crutchfield.com/S-azm5uU...g=120&tab=features_and_specs&i=113KAC8152#Tab I really like the look and specs of the ED sub, but does anyone know of a better amp for these subs around the 150-200$ range, or is this kenwood good?
550 watts is plent power to get a couple of those 13Kv.2s moving. That amp should be pretty reliable and last you many many years if you take good care of it. What kind of bass are you looking for???
well i mostly listen to rap and ocasionally rock...but wanted something that would provide both good sq with great spl
that amp will do fine...the ED recommended sized ported boxes work very well for daily listening...they are meant for good sound quality and output
