Within te next week i will be putting in new 3 way car speakers in my truck. The speakers I have chosen are going to be 4(one in each door) Hifonics zxi 683 speakers.
    The info for the speakers-
    Sensitivity: 90 dB
RMS Power Range : 2-85 Watts
    Peak Power Handling: 425 Watts
    Impedance: 4 Ohm
    Frequency response: 43-24000 Hz

At this point i am just confused on what i need to make the system work. At this point i have a factory stereo but this will be changed sometime after the speakers are installed to a pioneer double din. For now with the factory head unit i just want to know what the neccisities are to making my speakers sound great. At this point i have chosen a 4 channle amp rated at-
    125W x 4 @ 4-Ohms
    250W x 4 @ 2-Ohms
    500W x 2 [Bridged] @ 4-Ohms

Will this be fine for the setup, also is there anyting else i need to run the system?

That sounds like it will work just fine.I would make sure your new h/u has good eq features.Just bass and treble isn't going to cut it.At least a 3 band.
