Just got this for free from a friend. 100% mint condition plus 2 mtx 8" subs with a midrange and tweeter in each box. you know one of those funny looking combo boxes. anyways i really only have plans for the amp. realistically how much power would one of these put out at ~14v? on the bottom it says Thunder 240 N-Channel VFET Amplifier 20 Watts RMS/CH into 4 Ohms @ .05% THD 20-20,000Hz 40 Watts RMS/CH into 2 Ohms @ .1% THD 20-20,000Hz 80 Watts RMS/CH into 4 Ohms @ .1% THD 20-20,000Hz 200 Watts Dynamic Power (IHF-202) Bridged into 4 Ohms(14.4VDC) Note: RMS Power Ratings @ 12.5 VDC Input and it has a 20 amp fuse. i plan to use it on a kicker s12c 4 Ohm in a front loading horn designed by azn. i know these are good amps but i dont know much about this specific one. i'm sure i'll also eventually use the 8" mtx subs for fun.
its funny for my first system that will be own its an old school kicker and an old school mtx amp. it just worked out haha.
G3 the first FLH will most likely be a test design based off of someone else...I'll try it in my truck furst...then i'll design on for you
Ok fine haha. Whatever it takes for it to be the best. Do you think I should just use that t line design you made for starters?
alright well then im gonna design a simple ported box for starters then. the tline will be a for fun build sometime later.
