Hey guys, I need some advice on which head unit is better. I have the choice of either a kenwood excelon kdc-x796 or a jvc kd-a535j? I will also be having it hooked up to two kicker dc12 12 inch 600 watt subs and Rockford prime 6x9 rear deck speakers. I want to know which I will get the best sound bass and all out of?

    Thanks

i would go by which head unit has the better features your looking for.
your bass output is determined by its enclosure, not by your head unit.

pedro is right but with my past experiences i have had better luck with the kenwood decks because i like their features better. But also i've gotten some good bass settings out of them if you set it right. Another thing i like about the kenwoods is that they have a bigger remote so its not as easy to loose it in the car. But then again with the jvc's you can change the color you want on it. but its up to you
