Hi all Recently purchased a car with retro fitted sound system. I know nothing and nada about car sound. What I do know is it aint working - sounds not good as in fuzzy. A guy - expert on all things - said in a 4ohm system I need an amp that puts out higher thingies than my speaker thingies. Other thing I know is in home sterio if I put 300watt amp into 150watt speakers I'll be buying new speakers - is a car sound system different as my challenged friend says or will bigger amplifier just blow out smaller woofers.
