    Just an interesting sub!

    INFINITY 122.7W 12'' SELECTABLE IMPEDANCE CAR SUBWOOFER

    You can change the Kappa 122.7w 12" subwoofer's impedance from 1 to 4 ohms with the simple flip of a switch. This versatility means the Kappa will always fit into your system plans, whether you're using a single sub or setting up a multiple sub system. A single set of speaker terminals eliminates confusing dual voice coil wiring connections and configurations.
    There's plenty of performance to go with the convenience. This Kappa subwoofer features a lightweight, powerful neodymium magnet that drives the woofer with authority while keeping the overall weight down. Infinity suspends the stiff woven glass fiber cone in a rubber surround that keeps cone movement on track. The aggressively-styled dustcap enhances the cone's rigidity, so your bass stays focused and tight when the power's cranked.

    * 12" subwoofer with selectable 1- or 4-ohm impedance.
    * woven glass fiber woofer cone with rubber surround.
    * stamped steel basket and lightweight neodymium magnet.
    * single set of speaker terminals.
    * frequency response: 23-400 Hz.
    * power range: 50-350 watts RMS (1400 watts peak power).
    * sensitivity: 92 dB.
    * top-mount depth: 5-1/16".

    I wouldn't say interesting. they just made a sub for either the novice or people too stupid to figure out how to calculate the impedance. Its nothing more than integrated wiring on their part connected to a switch.

    still is a good sub though. If you are looking for SQ you can't go wrong with Infinity subs really.

    They do sound very nice until they fry lol, maybe it's just me but infinity are very touchy. They won't take abuse anyways lol.

    well I am running 500 rms to mine which are 350 rms.. 6 years and still running strong. Mine is an older model though. the Perfect 12.1. I mean with a 1400 watt max rating you really need to clip it to kill it if you are just running a little over its rms. But mine is also in an air tight box so the power handling does go up a bit.

    haha, Audio Assasain Audio Assasain Woooooooooo..I read they merged with someone good! I need one good 15" sub, was thinking adire audio but it is very expensive. It has to be 2000 watts rms. I don't think i like the orion hcca sub, i can't run it through winisd or bassbox, i think it's made more for a sealed enclosure.
