    Well I got my compooter back.

    Its been hell without it for a week...running a lot smoother now.

    lol, did you format the hard drive azn? Maybe you can use Bassbox Pro now.

    I have no idea...it will start installing it then it just freezes up. I may reformat it later on

    do you have a external hd? do you have a windows start-up or program disc?

    I have no external dh nor do i have a startup disk....my desktop came programmed with XP already

    hey guys.my computor at home is giving me probs.

    it it wireless capable,but will not get online even though it says connected.

    it says signal strength is good but will not show a page when i try to get on.

    any advise? i'm at work BTW.cant be on too long.i can still do my dial up,but man that is toooo slow

    usually in that case, the first thing you would want to do is reset your modem and router. Just unplug the power from both of them for about a minute just to make sure everything reset. Then plug the modem back in first then the router then re connect then see if u can get online. If not let us know lol.

    First i would try to re-set the modem/router. If that does not work then you might have to enter the IP address manualy...controll panel-network connections-wireless network connection(right click)-then look for internet protocol( single left click) then click properties-this is where you input it manualy. that is what i had to do. some will work on auto. and the numbers you will have to get from the internet provider. sometimes when they do the inital set-up all of this info is on your receipt.

    well.....i dont have any routers to unplug.i'm picking up like 8 signals near me,and connecting to those.

    i guess i'll justhave to use my phone line.

    arrggg.or get a package deall with my cable company.it may be cheaper that way.

    i'm at work now and have to get home.

    What kind of computer do you have?? My computer allowed me to create my own disc that will reformat my computer.

    F U C K Dell crap....i mean they are good but i can't get this f'in BB6 to work.

    I've tried over 10 times in the past.

    Once my get my laptop up and going i'll try to program it on there
