This is what I had in mind to put in my '99 Honda Civic 2 Alpine SWR - 1242D (Alpine Type R, 4 OHM) - $124.15 Each (http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=2167) 1 Rockford Fosgate Punch P1000-1BD Mono Amp - $378.35 (http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=8013) 1 Rockford Fosgate RFC2D 2 Farad Capacitor - $146.55 (http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=8030) 2 Rockford Fosgate RFK4 4 Guage Wire Kit - $80.55 Each (http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.displa y&Product_ID=8668) 1 Alpine SPR-17C 6-1/2' 2 Way Speakers - $92.15 (http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.displa y&Product_ID=5479) 1 Alpine SPR-69C 6x9' 2 Way Speakers - $98.15 (http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.displa y&Product_ID=5478) 1 Alpine MRP-F600 4-Channel Amp - $267.15 (http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.displa y&Product_ID=8301) 2 Sonic Sub Box: 1SV12 - $34.99 Each (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ox-+1SV12.html#) 1 Dynamat 10455 Bulk Kit - $124.55 (http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.displa y&Product_ID=2219) Totaling - $1586.28 i found all these on www.techronics.com seemed to be the cheapest site. And so my plan for the trunk set up would be have an angled, ported box containing 1 sub on each side of the trunk, then in the middle have my power cap and both amps, dynamat everywhere of course and blue neon lining the trunk.. tell me what you think, pros and cons.. thanks guys
techronics sucks...customer service is horrible. Never buy from there. Also if you want a bumpin system do not go prefab. Type R's love big enlcosures
try looking on sonicelectronix or woofersetc. azn is right, don't go for prefab boxes cuz most of them aren't very good. you should make your own or have one made. Now, lose the capacitor. you don't need one. upgrade your wires to either 2ga or 0ga wires and do the big 3 instead. Rockford amps are good but they can get pricey. you may want to take a look at elemental designs or even sundown audio for your amps.
