how do i know a box will fit my car?

    i'm about to get a sub set up for my car and i was thinking how do i know if a box will fit in my car? by fit i mean like stationary fit and safe for driving lol. do i need to use mounting tools? or any other tools? i'm new to the game and any help would be appreciated! thanks!

    most people try to actually bolt the box to the frame from the inside of the box, but if you can't do that, then L brackets will work just fine, just make sure that they are not seen because they aren't the best looking! lol

    mine isnt bolted down or anything and it doesnt move at all. my car had to be towed once and the front end was off the ground pretty high up and nothing moved lol

    Yeah depends how heavy it is and where it is. I've kept mine in the backseat and it doesn't move and my buddy also has his in the back seat of his wrangler and it didn't move when we went offroading the other day so just depends.
