I have a 2001 chevy tahoe, I am planning on installing a 2 way amp to run a couple of subs. Instead of pulling out the stereo can I just hook the amp up using the existing speaker wires that are already going to the rear speakers of the tahoe. I would use these as the input to the amp, then run the amp to the subs. Can this be done, If Im not mistaken I can do this as long as I run the factory wires to the high level input on the amp. Is this rite or wrong. Thanks for the help.
