Well, I have found it is easier said than done. I mean how hard can it be to make a box, right? Kudo's to all you guys that do this for a living. As you can see, my upholstery skills suck as well. But I learned a lot on this deal and have already made plans to do it differently. I'm sorry I didn't take pics as I did it, but once I started, the camera was not on my mind.

Many thanks to Ranger, and all the rest of you fine folks. It sounds 100% better than it did.

Not bad...here is a hint for finishing your box with what looks like vinyl

if you make the side panels recessed a little bit than you can flush mount another piece that is wrapped up with vinyl and screw it in from the inside for a simple seam and no screws showing

    none the less good effort

    Thanks guys.

Awesome hint, Azn. That will be incorporated in the next one. For some reason, I like black, or matching vinyl.

No vids. Being an old fart, not sure the music I listen to will impress the folks that like these things to shoot out a couple feet. :)

This semester is keeping me so busy. Anyway, it looks really great. And vinyl is one of the more difficult materials to work with. It doesnt go around corners well.

And AZN's solution is a good one.
