Jonny your link does not work.

Most people will rag on Lanzar and say those bottom line Max series are crap...but for the price they are actually pretty good drivers. It is all in the box man.

I've heard the same sub Viking posted but the square version...my cousin had one 12 inch square max sub and a 600 watt max lanzar amp in a sealed box...her friend is a major ghetto install on it.

Amp was laying in the trunk and grounded to the loop for the trunk latch...not even bolted...just stripped a buncha wire and wrapped it around the loop then put some electrical tape over it...I found the gain cranked ALL THE WAY UP, and the boost ALL the way up...basically clipping the HELL out of the amp. Surprisingly the sub never smelled of burnt coil or resin or anything...it just straight up sounded like crap.

After I turned down the settings and correctly set the gain so it didn't sound like flabby hooker twat it sounded pretty decent for one 12 in a sealed box with about 120 watts rms.

Pretty tough subs for the money

johny, PLEASE DONT buy that amp you posted!!!!

If you are looking for DIRT CHEAP, then buy a quality amp at a lower power rating.

100 REAL WATTS of power from a quality amp will outperform 500 watts put out by a crap amp......yes, this is true!

Lanzar has always made a decent product in my opinion.

second Viking's motion...lanzar amps have gone downhill pretty sharply Viking.

The only decent amps they have are the big optidrive monoblocks.

Everything else is rated at 1000 watts rms with two 20 amp fuses

I was ONLY reffering to the lanzar drivers, not the amp. Back in the day lanzer did make a decent amp. i havent heard any of their electronics in years thoiugh....

If you go with a dual 4 ohm voice coil driver, you will need an amp tht is 1 ohm stable if you plan on running it in mono.....FYI
