So I'm in need of some help.. Inclosed are some of the rims that I like. I got a Gold Mazda 626 with 35% tint. Think I like black rims, but what you guys think? Probably 18's too 1. Thruxton Hyper Black 2. Quantum Tek 105 3. A&L Racing 388 Gun Metal Or Black 4. Venti V56 Black 5. Enkei EN 399 EV05 Bronze 6. Enkei EN400 EV06 Gun Metal 7. Motegi DV5 Black or Gun Metal
I'm also planning on installing lowering springs before i get the rims. I think they're 1.5 or 1.7 inches.. With the car lowered.. I think i'll go with 17's. But I do like gun metal. that might be a good choice. thanks dave. now help with the rim style!
http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=2274 http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=1468 http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=10992 those would be my 3 choices. Hyper Dark and Gun metal would be great color choices in my opinion. I also like Black rims but only with the very polished chrome lip like the one i linked above I think it looks super nice.
Just to warn you ahead of time though... I lowered my last car with a Eibach Pro-Kit and that thing was loooow. When you lower the car it has a tendency to scrape every damn driveway out there. So pretty much consider the bottom of your front bumper screwed. It was on my last Talon so I really didnt care about looks on it as it was mostly just a car I liked to work on and take to the track. Just remember to always drive at and sort of incline or dump at an angle to try to prevent any scraping. Speed bumps can be a nightmare.
air ride is the way to go, my friend has it on his truck and its sick. hes putting some sort of metal strip under his rear bumper so when he drops it, itll spark everywhere. but with air rides you wont have to worry about scraping, you can raise it when you come across a speed bump. i wish i had the money/knowledge to do that stuff on my car
aw man, those 65 mustang rims are hot.. but not on my MAZZDUH! and air ride is just too damn expensive. AND I woudln't know how to install it.
i think theese would be hot..like you posted befor..theese are the way to go http://www.wheelmax.com/product.asp?ProdId=2274
yeah i agree. The Manta rims are AWESOME. BUT....... i work at a shop.. so I can get rims cheap. BUT. only if we carry them. And I don't think we do. BUT.. if we do carry them.. they are going on my car. without a doubt.
i would go with an 17" black with a polished lip and low profile tires. air ride isnt all that expensive ither $1000 for a basic kit and is so simple to install to it just replaces the springs and struts you might also need caster/camber plates as well actually a friend of mine just got the 30" RIMS from lexani for his H2 , MAN! can you say cha-ching $50.000 and there sweet as hell and they are HUGE
