I took my deck out of my '02 Ford Explorer Sport Trac and was hooking it up to my '07 MazdaSpeed 6 when I got the the last step in plugging in the antenna cable and 2 things happened. 1. The Antenna did not fit all the way in as if it wasn't long enough or something 2. My deck turned off and I'm not sure if that had something to do with plugging it in. The people who pulled the deck out left some connections as reference and I did notice that there was a blue wire (Labeled Power Antenna) that had been connected in the Ford. But there were no connections in the Mazda for that so I am thinking I need an adapter for the plug and one that has the blue wire. Please Help.
I'd say check your connections, If that doesn't work I'd save myself the trouble and possibly go get a new wiring harness for the Mazda. Oh and p.s us Noles will be ready for ya this year in "The Doak" ; )
