I am in the middle of hooking up my components and ran into a small issue. I cant tell which of these terminals is negative and which is positive. There is a red dot on the left one and red is usually positive but the right one is bigger which is usually the positive. So which one is the positive.
Red should be positive... if not sure ,using a AA or D cell battery, Hook the positive of the speaker to the positive of the battery and the negativer of the speaker to the negative of the battery, if the cone moves forward, then that is the correct polarity, if it moves backwards, then it is opposite of what we thought!
on all speakers if you are looking at it like in the picture...the one on the left is the positive and the right is a negative
