   I need help on how to turn the unit on with just a 12v battery as i dont have a car to put it in. This unit has some special features like parking brake switch ect. thank you.

   Most units go red,yellow on positive and, black to ground.. If you have a car battery jumper pack you can use that if its fully charged.

   I have this same unit actually, the parking brake is just to watch movies, put the positive and negative on the batt and then the acc on the positive, should work
