Enclosure Basic measurements

    so with our collective knowledges. lets see if we can't put together a rough starting spot of ft^3 for 8's, 10's, 12's, 15's? both enclosed and ported. I understand that ever set of subs is different but lets see if we can't crunch some numbers and come up with some averages.

    (PS, iam at work atm on my phone so ill do my number crunching and post a reply in an hour or two. a little slower pace browsing on a phone but an even slower day on sat... lol)

    averages.

    Per 8" driver: 0.5-1.0 cu ft net ported

    Per 10" driver: 1.0-2.0 cu ft ported

    Per 12" driver: 1.5-3.0 cu ft ported

    Per 15" driver: 2.5-5.0 cu ft ported

    Per 18" driver: 4.0-8.0 cu ft ported.

    These are my averages. Sealed doesn't matter for me.

    I agree with those entirely, most sealed boxes would be .5-1.5 cu ft smaller than the respective ported box wouldn't they?
