Check out this memphis sub

    Hmmmmmm????? Take an 18, a 12 and a 10 inch driver, bolt all the frames together, the have a voice coil former that is what, 12 inches long?


    "might" make a good spl sub, or at the very least an oddity to add to the annals of car audio history as a sub that never got any where, including off the ground.



    I seriously doubt that it would be much good for anything over 40 or 50 Hz, effectively. The moving mass of the multiple spiders, the long former, must make it very "slow" in its attack. and very hard to stop, in its motion once it does get to moving!!!!


    Looks neat though!!! except for the pink........

    i remember my buddy having a JL18W6 i think it was. I know it was an 18" JL driver with a kicker amp on it. Took up his entire trunk of his LeSabre. Sitting in the backseat was not an option. The super low tones would make breathing a challenge.

    It looks very interesting. Its not my cup of tea though.
