well I decided to build a box for my gf's car. Space is very very limited. It is a 95 chrysler cirrus. I am trying to retain the spare tire location and work around the rear strut tower bar. I took alot of measuring and cutting pieces trying to visualize the build. Here are some pics so far:

Now I know it isnt much right now but today was more of a day to plan things out on what needs to be done. I am using this for an amp:

I am still trying to choose a sub to match this amp. I am going with a sealed box and not much cubic volume to work with. I was looking at:
http://www.crutchfield.com/S-y8gTXUEaYAV/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=520&I=1081050W for a sub but i also was checking out http://www.crutchfield.com/S-y8gTXUEaYAV/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=520&I=158XSL100P. I am accepting ALL opinions on what sub you guys think would be ideal for this amp, a sealed box, and not much space.

Here is a edited pic on rougly the framing design what I am doing tommorow.

I am having the subs face the back seat and I am mounting the amp on the back of the box.

    Any feedback, ideas, suggestions???

I am using liguid nails to hold the stick in place for now. I plan on re-enforcing with screws. I have also bought 2 sheets of 1/2" MDF board and 2 sheets of 3/4" MDF board. I only need time to finish the box.

Just to let you know, I'm not trying to be mean, just helpful..
this is just my opinion.... please keep that in mind.

I don't like the amp. too much money, and it's a sony.
don't like the sony sub either, IMO sony makes lousy speakers.
I like the infinity, but not in a trunk.

In a limited space, I would either go with 2 8's (several manufacturers have formidable models) in a bandpass box (and I know it souds stupid, but I have specs for one that will knock your socks off) or possibly one 10 in a bandpass or sealed box. pay closer attention to the sub and box than you do to the amp, but if you search ebay for subwoofer amp, you will find that you can do much better for 170 bucks than a 200w 2channel sony. also, let us know exactly how much room you have to work with, and we can go from there, and let me know if you want the specs for the bandpass 8. (I used jbl's).
