Soldered and heatshrink wohooo, i know i need to get some wire loom and the anl fuses and the battery and my engine is dirty geez get off my back lol.
I left the original there because it goes to that fuse panel, and just added the new wire along side of it but straight to the battery.
electrolytic, this is really off the topic but after seeing your pics i noticed your headlights are really yellowish. I know a way you can get them looking clear again. Here's what you do if your interested: 1. Wet sand your headlights with 1200 grit sandpaper until the yellowish color is totally gone. (this should only take about 5 minutes of sanding per headlight) 2. By hand, compound the crap out of your headlights with heavyduty compound to get the haze/minor scratches the sandpaper created. 3. Finish off with a polishing compound and wax and your headlights will look brand new again. Here's a before and after pic.......... sorry for going way off topic
that's cool thanks i might do that, i know they look old and crappy, i noticed that too. umm whats compound. Don't worry about going off topic. I like cherry cheesecake lol.
I was looking at them today, they actually have a level thing with numbers on in and a liquid glass bubble thing like a level. Thought that was pretty cool, don't know if they are set properly.
Rubbing compound removes wet sanding scratches, overspray and oxidized paint you can get that stuff even from your local supermarket. Any cheapo brand will do for your headlights. Directions for usage are right on the bottle, be sure to also use a polishing compound after. The headlights above, i didn't even wax after. Doing it this way is a lot cheaper than having to buy new headlights. Cherry cheesecake ain't bad, i love cheesecake. lol
can't really make it out from the picture. Anyway, you wouldn't have to take the headlight off to clean it.
good job that that upgrade. Did you upgrade the big three or only two of them??? I only see one ground wire upgrade
lol, thought i could sneak that by..do i have too... lol whaa waaa, which is the last one, battery negative to engine?
yeah that or engine to chassis. What I did was just find a non-essential bolt somewhere on the engine and ground to that
