Hello Everyone. Was just wondering if someone could let me know the best resolution for DIVX movies on the AVH -3200BT. Should I use DIVX 4 or 5 as well. Thanks.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Divx4 and Divx5 are codecs and have nothing to do with resolution. But the more up to date Divx 6 and Divx7 are available. Divx6 and Divx7 can also play the popular Xvid codec and would be prefered over the older versions Resolution has to do with the bitrate and the frames per second. The software I use for conversions allows me to adjust the frames per second rate from 10 to 60. I use 25fps a majority of the time. The next setting is the bitrate and I will use anything between 960 and 1680 depending on what I'm playing the file back on.
