I bought a couple AVH-P4200DVD units from a retail store. The units were display units. Once i got them home and connected them, I realized that they will not eject a disc and the front will not open when eject is pressed. I have heard that the dealers will lock them to keep people from stealing discs and putting in their own discs. They won't even show DVD in the source menu. I know that the AVIC-D3 had this and that you held the menu and back button then reset the unit and it would unlock it. I have had to do them before. Anyone know of the reset or unlocking methods for these 4200's. I contacted Pioneer and they admitted the dealer lock, but they wouldn't tell me how to unlock it.
