video games??? i know its illegal... i know you need a mod chip... b ut what else do you need... im getting an xbox for xmas and i can get a modchip installed for $120....im pretty sure for the next gen systems you need a dvd burner...atleast for xbox anyway..yet, ive heard its possible to do it with a cd burner...its just quality will be sacrificed....ive downloaded the trial version of nero 5.5...im probably going to buy it...so....what else do i need and how do i do it?? any help is appriciated thanks
I have no idea how o do a XBOX, but I know Playstations use a Speical Disc, that Check if it ia genuie PS disk or not, making copying thme hard, and you have a "hot swap" or use things like a game genie to play them.............. but I have no idea how the Xbox works, is it tottally differant, hell the disc's spin baskwards
The only thing I copy are PC games and I have copied PS games in the past. Go find CloneCD on the net it is is the ultimate burner program with features to bypass every possible security feature on games. Howeer, you will not know which setting are required for which games so you should also get ClonyXL which scans the discs and sends the info to the CloneCD. I imagine you would be able to burn Xbox games on CloneCD. Got to www.gamecopyworld.com and look for some info
the problem with the PS games was there was "dead cells" made IN TO the physical CD that no burn can replicate..... so Clone CD would still not allow from for a Direct Play in Playstion
When I burned the games for the PS I just had a boot cd that I used. I had a game enhancer which eliminated the need for a modchip and the annoying installation.
what game enhancer did you use??? my friend wants me to copy his psx games but he doesnt wanna get a modchip installed... also...in order to copy the games im going to need a dvd burner...considering ps2 and xbox games are on 4.7 gb dvd discs... =o( my friends getting one for xmas...so im gonna ask him to experiment and put the modchip in his oh yea...for all u video game peoples... game cube BLOWS!!! lol
