    i can get a reman 105A for $60, or a 150A reman/rewind for $150

the max current draw on my amp is 90A, my current alternator is 90A and i have no voltage drops. the current one has a bad regulator, hence the reason for the upgrade.

while i want to get the most out of this vehicle, it is a budget spl car. the more i can save the better.

i also run a pair of 950CA batts, if this makes a difference?

Personally I'd go with the 105 amp one. The rewinds seem kinda shady but I dont remember to why.

The rewind 150 amp will require higher RPMs to make power. To eliminate the possibility of drop at idle, I suggest 105.

    Good call.

It is hush-hush, but you may want to keep your battery options open for a bit. Word is, AC Delco will be releasing some type of high perf battery soon. I assume AGM is going to be the path they will follow again, but I am not sure. Details have not been released. However, on very good word, I think we are looking at July, maybe August for the release...

That was the prototype actually, but knowing GM's history it will be nothing like the prototype :p
