Alarm ....

    Hi everyone,
    On the auto page alarm systems, when you push the unlock/lock button on the 2way remote, there is about a 30 second delay from when you hit the button till it actually arms/disarms the alarm. But on the 1way spare remote, it works perfectly. Could this be a bad remote? I'm not sure on the model, I'm posting this for a friend, has the carbon fiber remotes though.

    It mite be a code hopping issue between the remote and unit if it has the option.. If you can, try disabling code hopping in the alarm menu with the valet switch. The different option menus are found in the alarms manual.

    If that doesnt work, id go for a new remote, but if it has a 30second delay i dont think the remote is broken. When you push that button the signal is sent.
