ok, so I DO realize that this is my first post ever, so I can understand if some of you are hesitant, esp. since i just read about the scams going on, but i am for real... if your truely interested i will give you my # and you can talk to me in person, or I can get more pictures for you! I'm selling these for 2 reasons... at first, it was simply because were making my ZX2 lightweight, and they're (unfortunetly) just more weight we dont need! ...we've gutted the interior, deleted AC/ PS, lieght weight wheels/ racing seats, ect. we were ready for the rollcage and here comes reason #2,..... the day before we were set to bend pipes/weld in the cage, the differential exploded in the tranny so now I'm stuck in need of a new, built tranny. The tranny is going to cost some serious $$$ to ship from florida, and i need to jump on it ASAP so every penny counts! The car is in the shop just waiting for it.... I have these listed in the local Want Ad Digest, and a few other forums.... I really need these gone! Heres what I have:

2 10" Alpine type R subs in a Memphis Audio ported box with a crunch, drive series 800w amp with a spec 1 cap, and i should be able to get out all the wirirng from the memphis audio wiring kit they used to install it! I'm asking 400 for all of this....the system hits AWESOME, esp. for 10's....and stays clear all day long. I do not want to part the system out, I want to get rid of it as a whole....need the money! But the box's dimensions are 12" tall, 16.5" front to back, and 29" wide. ...its truely a nice box, and if your putting it in a trunk, and you get a flat, its more than moveable to get out and get to your spare, it was nice! I forgot to mention, these subs retail for about 200 per sub i think, so this isnt a bad deal, they wernt used for more than 2 months and now they're just sitting in the shop waiting,...

 

40 for everything? idk seems too steep, i would feel like i am ripping you off :lol: i can uinderstand trying to lowball me to get a better price, but 40 bucks? the wiring cost almost double brand new. The system is barely used, if i wanted to i could repackage the stuff and call it new its in that good condition and i have all origianal boxes- but i'd rather be honest about it. 2 months top used, never abused....400 gets you everything you need.

 

I do understand where you guys are coming from- my first system i bought on ebay... JL W-3's (supposedly) in a box with a kenwood 1000 watt amp- 2 days after installing the subs blew...i got shafted. So i really do understand what your saying

 

i shouldnt have said that THEY blew..i blew them..they were advertised as W3's not W0's so i cranked those mofo's...they shook everything...and then stopped working:huh: needless to say, these subs havnt been turned up...i love having some bass, but i'd rather have some good subs then beat the **** out of them and not have any. azn, i will take your 120 + ship (shouldnt be much) for the subs if you can find someone to buy the amp or box or cap or somthing..i need to make 300 ASAP i found a tranny and have untill wednesday to come up with $300 more =(

 

1998 ford escort zx2 manual transmission. This guys in florida, wants 600 for it but hes throwing in Z3 fenders (mines are messed up from an accident) and a wings West spoiler.... i'm not pressing the fenders/wiong but i just want this tranny, only 2,000 miles on it- guys a pretty good guy dealt with him before so I'd like this, i trust it more then any junkyard tranny =/

none, actually. there is some sort of "buffer" type thing, i checked this out for myself, i never saw the subs bounce out of it once...i always gave them an inch or so, just to be sure though.

 

oooh, i get what you were asking! I always kept my subs kiddy-corner, allowed 4-5 inches but you can get away with 3 just fine!
