Team Crossfire Sets New World Record

June 12, 2003 -- Team Crossfire's Michael Jones had something to prove and that's just what he did at the triple point DB Drag event in Tulsa, Okla., on June 1.
Jones came out swinging in his 2003 season debut and set a new World Record at 170.9 in the Extreme 5-8 class. This record was set on the all new dreaded DB Drag Termlab meter, which is known to be much tougher than the previous DB Drag meters.

With Jones atop his class and Crossfire teammate Steve Cook atop EXT 9+, it remains to be seen which one will end up the loudest. Other Team Crossfire members who will be on their heels is California's Rodger Bridges.

Bridges made his way to the Tulsa show and won a hard fought second place in EXT 3-4.

6/6/03 Michael Jones: DB Drag World Record EXT 5-8 170.9d (Second loudest ever hit on the USACi B&K 172.0).

Steve Cook: DB Drag World Record EXT 9+ 169.2dB (USACi Legal World Record B&K 173.7dB).
