get a meter..play a sine sweet from 100hz to 20Hz see where your peak frequency is..if you want a loud box than tune the enlclosure so it peaks...
tuning high like higher than 40Hz normally gives a really sharp peaky response and sharp drop off of the low end...kinda like a fart box
