Looking at two units. Both are installed prices and include:
    • installation of double din head unit
    • installation (and purchase) of backup camera
    • removal of my in-console DVD/CD players and modification of console to look new inside and not like we just removed two big units)
    • connecting new head unit to existing in-ceiling drop down screen
    • installation in console of USB and input

    Which would you prefer?
Does the price seem fair for a quality install?

    Choice #1 ($800 installed)
    Alphanav AN5650NV (http://alpha-nav.com/products01.html)
    Includes Nav and DVD player.
NOTE: map updates are $70 each and are done via SD card.

    OR

    Choice #2 ($650 installed)
Kenwood dbx470 (http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113DDX470/Kenwood-DDX470.html?tp=20217). No nav but it does have a DVD player.

Note: I use an Android phone (not an iphone) for my navigation, so that's not critical to me. Would like to expand to use Sirius XM ...

I'm a rookie so any feedback will be appreciated.
