I have absolutely no clue how to pick an amp that will match with my subs i have 2 Pioneer TS-SW301 12-Inch 1000W Maximum 250W Nominal Shallow-Mount Subwoofer. So can someone please help me on how to choose a good amp to power the 2 subs. I also need help choosing a head unit. Any help is appreciated. By the way this is my first time with a system so thanks again with all your help.

any pioneer hu is good. and hence you have the pioneer subs, just as well go with sony xplod 1000 watt amp. i had this setup for my first install and the two subs and amp together work great.
set the gain half way and leter rip tader chip lol

my personal exsperiance is that all PIONEER anything sucks..........IMO
if you want a good HU get an Alpine like the CDA-105 from cruchfield, i paid 179.00 with extras.

the hu's that suck are sony and dual, pioneer falls right along alpine. so either way, pioneer and alpine are good choices. now for that amp, i think you will want a class D.

You may want to check lanzar opti, but only the opti's the rest are junk. you can get a
refurbish 2000d for a very good price with warranty. the 2000d my be overkill but you can
set the gain down and if you ever want to upgrade the subs you won't have to worry
    about getting another amp.
