About a month ago i installed a second amplifier into my car for my tweeters and everything was working nicely. Then of course one day i turn on my car and get crazy feedback through the tweeters and not the subs which are on two different amps. This is said to be common. They are grounded to the same area but on different screws. I have played around with the grounds since then and merely just disconnecting the ground and reconnecting it moments later will work for a day or so and then the feedback come right back. How do i solve this?! is this a grounding loop or just the result of needing a new amp for the tweeters.

If your head unit is a Pioneer, you may have blown a ground trace in the preamp section. This is common in many Pioneer units. Try grounding the RCAs near the radio (obviously the ground or outer part of the cable).
The directions said to put the ground loop insulator and not to hook up the grounds on the insulator if music was played. i did that and it worked perfectly for a bit and now im getting feedback again at times its just not as loud as it was. somtimes turning off the radio and turning it back on works and other times it doesnt. I guess i will hook up the grounds and see if that does anything. but other then that could it be the amp?
