I really want to get the Pioneer MVH-p8200 but on the crutchfield website it says that it will not fit my car? Ive always used pioneers and never had to do anything extra to make them fit, this is just a single din digital media reciever i believe and the screwholes on the sides look the same as my current pioneer stereo. So do you think there is someway to make it fit or will it really not fit my car? If not i might just go with one of the alpine media receivers or just a regular pioneer cd/mp3 stereo.

It should work, your car is a single din opening and so is the HU

Any got any experience with this HU as far as bypassing the ebrake?
Can you use just one relay switch or do you need 2 since the brake light has to go on twice for the video to work.

    Thanks.

I havent done that in a while but last time i did, we just used a switch to ground. When the HU was in "demo" mode when you gave it a ground 2 or 3 times a "secret" menu poped up and you were able to disable the parking brake safety thing. so GL, im sure you can google it and find something.

There are quite a few things that Crutchfield says will not fit, yet fit fine. When in doubt, check the measurements.

Maybe Crutchfield say some things don't fit if they are untested by them and are unsure.

Agree with Klinkster.. I also think so.. There are quite a few things that Crutchfield says will not fit, yet fit fine.

Wire a relay having the parking brake ground just after the HU turns on, i wired mine to the amp turn on. Works great, and disables the error message every time it turns on
