I have recently blown my right front door speaker and need to get around replacing all four which to my understand are 6 3/4in in size. Ill have to do a little bit of work because the germans do things different when mounting etc but suggestions for maybe some speakers and how i would need to mount them or anything?

The speakers I like best are the Polk Audio and the Infinity Reference series.

So any idea what you wanna do? Remember, lots of power, that box should be able to handle alot.

We traded in Marks car, we took his system out. Its in the garage (his old system). I wanna try an Earthquake SWS-10. Still debating on what to do.

im looking at keeping the same two jbls pushing 300rms each cause tp push more i would have to buy a bigger amp and speakers bc those jbls max at 350 rms each. i found a new amp that pushes 600rms which will be 300rms each like it is now but for 30$ i can get a 4 yr warranty. Thats the big deal bc this last one started having that power problem at about 6months and amazon only warranted it for like 3 months. so the subs will not change much.

but im gonna replace all four door speakers with im thinking with polk audio like you suggested

or stay with jbl and get these

and have those wired to the radio like the previous ones rather then an amp.

i still have that small 2 channel amp that is 2x75w. and am looking to use this distribtution block...if its ok? idk if this is efficient.

but what to do with that small amp im unsure. maybe putting some speakers under my seats off one channel and tweeters off the other channel? i have no clue but i wanna do it lol. ideas? suggestions?

what does mark have? feel free to ship it my way lol. im kinda turning into a pack rat of equipment slowly but surely.

the amp i have now works fine but kills ya battery cause it wont turn off so idk. one day maybe ill get it fixed. i had a quote for about 160$ but they said to get a new one anyways.

From the speaker choice you have there I prefer the Polk Audo speakers. I have a set in my truck that are 6-years old and not one problem.

They really wake up with a little power. Around 75-watts per channel is perfect for them. If you want a little more sound add some add-on tweeters. You'll be surprised how much they help

I am not a big component fan, I prefer a full range speaker and an add on tweeter, it just works. You can do the tweeters one of two ways, power it of the amp (just inline them to the Polk speakers in the doors) or power them off the deck. Either way there will be an improvement.

Notice a full range and an add on tweeter

    More add on tweeters

He has a pair of PowerBass 12-inch woofers in a ported box (6-inch port)
